The Crackle families are uniquely made by quenching molten glass in water. The water cools the surface of the glass forming a skin, and as the glass is blown out, the skin separates exposing the contrasting interior color while forming organic color veins and a lifelike texture. Each of the skin colors are paired with a contrasting interior color and finished with a signature twirled stem. The Crackle Pumpkin series utilizes this age-old Venetian technique to create a realistic and distinctive design on glass pumpkins. The blown glass pumpkins are offered in Harvest Crackle, Earth tone Crackle, Fantasy Crackle, Seafoam, Modern Spooky, Harvest Surreal, Fantasy Surreal, Halloween Crackle, and Squash varieties.
